About GVK Power & Infrastructure IPO
Incorporated in 1994, GVK Power & Infrastructure Limited (GVKPIL) is a part of the GVK Group and serves as the holding company for its power generation businesses. The company is engaged in the development, ownership, and operation of power projects, along with providing operations and maintenance services for its assets. It held a majority stake in GVK Industries Limited, which operates the 216 MW Jegurupadu Phase I power plant and is in the process of commissioning the 220 MW Jegurupadu Phase II project. In addition, the company owned a significant equity stake in GVK Power Limited, which is developing a 464 MW combined cycle power plant.
